Mohamed Salah is the subject of fresh transfer speculation over a move to Paris Saint-Germain next summer as uncertainty remains over his future at Liverpool. Despite scoring and assisting in the 2-0 triumph over Manchester City, speculation grows after each dynamic performance.
Salah set up the opener for Cody Gakpo to score and later sealed the deal with his 13th season tally from the spot, pushing Liverpool a significant nine points clear in the Premier League table.
French outlet L'Equipe suggested on Sunday that PSG, who were unsuccessful in luring Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Jadon Sancho to their side, have already held talks with Salah's camp and believe they can land the winger.

Sources close to the matter indicate "there is a good chance" he could swap Anfield for Parc des Princes. With financial muscle flexed through the big-money departures of stars Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, PSG could easily fund a move for Salah. However it is stated that PSG has played down the links and believe the speculation is a ploy to get Liverpool to act.
Since his arrival from Roma in 2017, Salah has etched his name in Premier League lore, becoming an Anfield icon. Given PSG's struggles in Europe, it would be a surprise for the Egyptian to make the move.
After a stellar performance against Manchester City, the player expressed his sentiments: "It's very special [playing at Anfield]. I don't take it for granted. I'm enjoying every minute here, it feels like home. It's always a special feeling always scoring at Anfield and winning games."

Addressing his contract situation, he continued: "Honestly it's in my head. Until now this is the last City game I will play for Liverpool so I was just going to enjoy it. The atmosphere was incredible so I will enjoy every second here. Hopefully we just win the league and will see what will happen."
With no new deal yet, Salah could talk to foreign clubs in January. It's believed he wants a sizeable contract, with reports suggesting that his teammates support him, recognizing the brief nature of a footballer's peak years and the chance to capitalize on his current standing.
