Ally McCoist has reacted to a new sack theory from Andy Townsend about Sean Dyche at Everton.
The Blues find themselves two points ahead of the relegation zone in 15th place in the Premier League after winning just two of their opening 13 matches.
The Toffees were hammered 4-0 by Manchester United on Sunday (1 December) and face four of the top five in their next five games.
Speaking on talkSPORT [2 December, 8:36], Townsend shared why the manager could be saved, saying: “In many respects, because the ground is hopefully going to be delivered on time at the end of the season, that might be buying Dychey a bit of time.
“I don’t see the club in a financial position to make hugely significant changes in terms of the coaches, staff members, etc.”

McCoist responded in a surprised tone, saying: “Do you think?”
Everton Stadium will not save Sean Dyche
Winning just two of 13 matches is not good enough for the Blues, who find themselves in another survival scrap.
Contrary to Townsend’s assertion, Alan Myers claims that there is no financial impediment to the club parting ways with Dyche.
The Toffees face Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City in the coming weeks and are expected to be dragged into the midst of the survival battle as a result.

With the new stadium and new ownership on the horizon, it is unthinkable that the Blues could start the new era in the Championship, so a decision on Dyche must be made before it is too late.
They cannot afford to wait until the Friedkin Group has taken over to dismiss the 53-year-old if the club believe that the situation is untenable.
Supporters have already made their feelings clear, they are sick of the lack of goals, the calamitous defending and ultimately just seven league wins in the last 11 months under Dyche.
