Ruben Amorim picked up his first win as the new Man United manager on Sunday and now, with confidence under his belt, he will take his team to London to take on Arsenal.

Man United have now strung together an unbeaten run of 7 matches across all competitions and they are looking really lively under Amorim. They picked up a commanding 4-0 win over Everton on Sunday and that win has taken them within touching distance of the top four. United might be sitting 9th on the Premier League table but they are just four points away from the Champions League spots.

That win against the Toffees has given the players a lot of confidence and even if Man United can come out with a win from the Emirates Stadium, it will be a job well done. However, the way they played on Sunday, Ruben Amorim will want a repeat of the same just to make sure his boys are making progress in terms of adapting to his tactics and style.

Manchester United’s team news and suspensions:

Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo both picked up yellow cards on Sunday and as a result of accumulating five yellow cards both of them will be unavailable for midweek.

In terms of selection, this will be a big blow for Amorim but thankfully Luke Shaw is back and the England international will start as the left-sided centre-back.

Mainoo’s absence shouldn’t also be an issue because the Man United manager can use Casemiro and Ugarte in the middle of the pitch. This combination will have pace and some creativity but we don’t think the manager will risk using Eriksen against an in-form Arsenal side.

Amad, playing as the right wing-back has caught everyone’s attention and the 22-year-old has already racked up three assists in as many games under his new boss. It’s safe to say that Amad has made that position his own and Amorim isn’t going to take him out any time soon.

Rashford looked really sharp on Sunday and he scored two goals as well. He will definitely hold onto his spot in the first XI but Garnacho is expected to replace Zirkzee despite him scoring a brace as well.

Marcus wasn’t up to the mark when playing as a centre-forward in Amorim’s first game in charge but hopefully, these two goals have given him some much-needed confidence.

Rasmus Hojlund will be pushing for a start and even though he hasn’t done much wrong, he will most likely start on the bench.

Bruno Fernandes with an ice-pack strapped to his ankle after being substituted against Everton but hopefully it’s nothing serious and the Portuguese international will be cleared to face the Gunners.

Man United predicted lineup vs Arsenal:

Goalkeeper: Onana.

Defenders: Luke Shaw, De Ligt, Mazraoui.

Wing-backs: Amad, Diogo Dalot.

Midfielders: Casemiro, Manuel Ugarte.

Attackers: Rashford, Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes.
