Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham dealt blow in pursuit of €100m-rated Bundesliga whizkid

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham have suffered a massive blow in pursuit of Jamie Bynoe-Gittens as he doesn’t intend to leave Borussia Dortmund anytime soon.

According to a report from TBR, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens has no intentions of leaving Borussia Dortmund until after the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The English youth international is on the wishlist of multiple top clubs from the Premier League. While he is keen on playing in the English top flight, he wants to continue at the German club for now.

Bynoe-Gittens started his career with Reading, he then made the move to English giants Manchester City. Unfortunately, things didn’t go according to plan for him at City and he ended up joining Dortmund as they presented him with a clear pathway to the first team.

He joined the German outfit in the summer of 2020 and ended up getting promoted to the senior team in just two years. The 20-year-old winger has already featured in 77 matches for their first team and he even has 26 goal contributions.

The English youth international seems to have taken his game to the next level in the ongoing campaign. He has racked up close to 1,200 minutes across his 19 appearances and has 12 goal contributions (8 goals, 4 assists). His red-hot form hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Premier League giants are keen on Bynoe-Gittens

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham are four Premier League outfits that have been closely monitoring him for a while now. On the back of his recent performances, they are looking to sign him at the end of the season.

Mikel Arteta seeks more quality on the left flank and Bynoe-Gittens seems to be an ideal fit for their system. With skipper Son Heung-min’s contract running out, Spurs are also looking to bring in the Dortmund winger for the long run.

Liverpool seek to add more depth to their attack while the 20-year-old is a perfect fit for Chelsea who tend to push for the best young players in the world. While all four clubs are keen on his signature, they have suffered a blow as Bynoe-Gittens doesn’t want to leave Dortmund any time soon.

He intends on staying in Germany to ensure he can reach his true potential and as he believes it will give him the best opportunity to make it to the England squad for the 2026 World Cup. With Thomas Tuchel in charge of the Three Lions, playing in the Bundesliga won’t hamper his chances of making the cut.

Staying at Dortmund will ensure he gets regular first-team action. He feels it will help him break into the England national team in the near future. While he does see himself playing in the Premier League in the long run, he doesn’t want to take the next step too early. Meanwhile, Dortmund won’t let him leave on the cheap, they will demand a massive €100 million to sell one of their best talents.
