The Friedkin Group’s social media activity looks very interesting amid Everton takeover rumours …

Everton are in desperate need of change both on and off the pitch.

Everton are really struggling this term and suffered a 4-0 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

There were a number of below-par performances including Jarrad Branthwaite who failed his United audition in the eyes of many.

Vitaly Mykolenko was really poor too and the only shining light of the dull afternoon at Old Trafford was Iliman Ndiaye.

Sean Dyche is under major pressure and Maurizio Sarri is being tipped to replace him on Merseyside in the next few weeks.

A managerial change likely won’t happen until the Friedkin Group complete their takeover and now there’s been a potential development on that deal.

The Friedkin Group start following Everton on Instagram

The Friedkin Group are close to completing their Everton takeover and their activity on social media recently suggests the end is near.

Their official Instagram account has just started following Everton and the women’s team in a subtle hint that suggests the deal is almost finalised.

The Toffees join AS Roma and AS Cannes’ teams on the Friedkin Group’s following list, which only stands at 59 in total.

Once they’re installed as Everton’s new owners, there’s set to be a lot of change at the football club and it’s thought a three-man shortlist has already been drawn up to replace Dyche.

Dyche expected to be the first change the Friedkin Group make

Everton fans have urged the club to sack Dyche for weeks and that could finally transpire in the coming weeks.

The Friedkin Group are targeting Graham Potter, Edin Terzic and Sergio Conceicao to replace Dyche, so he’s certainly on thin ice.

Everton simply have to beat relegation rivals Wolves on Wednesday evening as the fixtures don’t get any easier over the festive period.
