Oliver Glasner has ruled Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton out of their upcoming games against Ipswich and Manchester City.
The Eagles head to Portman Road on Tuesday evening in a crucial battle at the bottom of the Premier League.
Daniel Munoz’s late equaliser in Palace’s 1-1 draw at home to Newcastle on Saturday moved them out of the bottom three – but Glasner’s side have only won once all season.
Newly-promoted Ipswich have also won just once this season and are 19th in the table.
The South Londoners then host Manchester City at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
Wharton has been out since the 2-1 EFL Cup win at Aston Villa due to having surgery on a groin injury he was nursing.
“For Adam [Wharton] it will be too soon,” said Glasner.
“If everything goes as we planned, he will have his first training session with us after the Ipswich game, so he didn’t train until now.
“Also the [Manchester] City game is too soon, but maybe then Brighton is possible for him.”
