Arne Slot leading Liverpool’s interest in CL player – Reds manager ‘already fascinated’ by him

Arne Slot arrived at Liverpool after spending three years at Feyenoord and could return to his former club to sign a player for the Premier League side.

That’s according to La Gazette du Fennec, who state Slot has included Anis Hadj-Moussa in his Liverpool target list.

Hadj-Moussa arrived at the Dutch club in the summer window, after impressing during his loan spell at Vitesse Arnhem in the second half of last season.

The Liverpool manager wanted to sign him for his former club but wasn’t successful as the forward arrived at Feyenoord after Slot’s exit. The Dutchman continues to have the 22-year-old on his agenda for the Merseyside club.

Hadj-Moussa impressed for Feyenoord in their 3-3 draw against Manchester City in the Champions League last week. He prefers to operate on the right wing, currently occupied by Mohamed Salah at Anfield.

Salah’s contract expires at the end of this season and has talked about the possibility of leaving the English club next summer. The outlet suggests the Algeria international could replace the former Chelsea man at Liverpool.

Slot has been ‘already fascinated’ by Hadj-Moussa’s talent and whether he would want to sign him for Liverpool needs to be seen.

Feyenoord invested €1.8m to buy the Algerian and the report states they can make profit by selling him next summer.
