Welcome to our LIVE coverage of the FA Cup third-round draw which takes place this evening. Everton and Liverpool will discover their opponents for the prestigious competition as Premier League clubs enter the tournament for the first time at the third-round stage.
Sean Dyche's side reached the fourth round last season where they beat Crystal Palace after a replay before going on to lose to Luton Town. The Blues will be hoping to enjoy a cup run this term as well as maintain their Premier League status.
This season will be Arne Slot's first taste of the FA Cup in his first season as Liverpool's new head coach. The Reds in the quarter-final last season in dramatic fashion with a 4-3 defeat away at bitter rivals Manchester United.
A total of 64 teams will be involved in the draw, including all 44 from the Premier League and Championship. There are also two non-league clubs in the hat for the draw with Dagenham & Redbridge and Tamworth joining Everton and Liverpool.
It's not just Premier League clubs that enter the FA Cup at the third-round stage, with teams from the Championship also entering the draw. The draw is set to take place this evening, with ties scheduled to take place around Saturday, January 11.
The draw is scheduled to take place on Monday, December 2, at approximately 7pm. Kelly Somers is expected to host the draw, which is being broadcast live on BBC Two, and be joined by Mark Hughes and Dion Dublin.
