Jadon Sancho showed glimpses of his best in Chelsea's 3-0 Premier League win over Aston Villa on Sunday. The winger was named in Enzo Maresca's starting line-up at Stamford Bridge after his two Europa League assists in midweek.
Sancho and Pedro Neto were named in the Blues' forward line alongside Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson on Sunday, with Joao Felix and Noni Madueke dropping to the bench.
The 24-year-old played 71 minutes against Villa as Chelsea ran-out 3-0 winners. Sancho came close to scoring his first goal for the club after a mazy run off the left before coming off with Wednesday's trip to Southampton in mind.
Sancho will be hoping his performance against Villa will be enough to warrant a place on the teamsheet at St Mary's. The forward, who is loan from Manchester United, registered three assists in three consecutive games after arriving in west London.
On Monday morning, Sancho posted a one-word message on his Instagram story that Chelsea boss Maresca will love. After being faced with questions over his attitude at United, the England international finally looks focused on his football.
Posting an image of him with the popular compression recovery boots used by footballers, Sancho wrote: "Recovery!"

After starting December in style against Villa, Maresca's men play another eight times before the new year. After visiting Southampton, they face a tough London derby with Tottenham next Sunday.
Sancho will be hoping to find some good run of form over the festive period to give Maresca a serious selection headache in a potential run-in for Champions League football.
