Everton striker Youssef Chermiti is not expected to play the full 90 minutes against Wolves, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that the forward who’s yet to play in this campaign due to a setback in pre-season has a significant runway before he can last the entire course of a game.

However, if he is cleared to be fit for the game at Goodison Park on 4 December, his minutes are expected to be monitored.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Chermiti: “He has been out since August so I would expect a significant runway for his return to 90 minutes.

“I cannot say how long that will take because it really depends on how he responds to increases in activity.

“For the next one, he’s not expected to play the full 90 minutes as he’s not yet made a first-team return.”

Everton cannot risk rushing Youssef Chermiti back into action

The 20-year-old has had a tough time adapting since his move to Goodison Park and even last season, while he made 18 league appearances, just one of them was from the start.

Sean Dyche will not have had enough time to see what he can bring to the team and his injury this season only makes things more complicated.

It remains to be seen when the youngster can return to full fitness and stake a claim for a regular starting berth.

In other Everton news, Alan Myers has issued a claim on financial issues surrounding Sean Dyche’s sacking.
