The FA Cup third round draw has been made for 2024-25 with Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool’s opponents confirmed.
The Gunners will host current holders United in a massive showdown, which resulted in audible gasps from the BBC studio when it was drawn.
Chelsea, meanwhile, will play against League Two bottom side Morecambeat Stamford Bridge and Liverpool lock horns with Accrington Stanley, another club in the fourth tier of English football, at Anfield.
Manchester City face Class-of-92-owned Salford City in a match which is sure to attract plenty of attention while non-league Tamworth, who play in the fifth tier of English football, face Tottenham.
The third round is the stage of the competition where every Premier League and Championship side enters – setting up the possibility of David vs Goliath clashes and giant killings – which make the cup so iconic.

When is the FA Cup third round? Full schedule for 2024/25
The third round will take place on the weekend of Saturday, January 11.
Replays have been scrapped at every stage of this year’s competition, meaning that games will head straight to extra-time and if required, penalties, in the event of a draw after the end of normal time.
