Newcastle United have been handed a home draw against League Two side Bromley in the third round of this season’s FA Cup.
Bromley are third round debutants, but have enjoyed some recent success, winning the National League Play-Offs last season, as well as the FA Trophy in 2022. They are managed by former Toon goalkeeping coach Andy Woodman.
Eddie Howe’s side enjoyed a solid cup run last campaign, notably crushing Sunderland 3-0 at the Stadium of Light en-route to an eventual quarter-finals exit. Speaking of the Black Cats, the Championship side will host Stoke City in the third round.
Our game against Bromley – who currently sit 20th in League Two – looks likely to take place on Saturday 11th January, falling in between the away trip to Tottenham Hotspur (4th January) and the home game against Wolves (Wednesday 13th January).
Elsewhere in the draw, defending champions Manchester United will travel to the Emirates to play Arsenal, Manchester City have drawn Salford City at the Etihad, while non-league Tamworth will host Tottenham Hotspur! See the draw in full below:
