Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick pulled Robert Lewandowski to one side, for a pre-training session talk on Monday morning.
That’s according to **[Diario Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/charla-flick-lewandowski-112257256)**, who have provided an insight into the latest developments at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
Lewandowski, for his part, was of course singled out for widespread criticism this past weekend.
As much came after the veteran striker struggled badly, en route to Barcelona’s shock 2-1 La Liga defeat at the hands of Las Palmas.
This brought to an end what had been a fine individual spell of form for Lewdandowski, who will no doubt be eager to get back on track as soon as possible.
With Barca set for a swift return to action tomorrow night, boss Hansi Flick was therefore keen to send a message to his star frontman, earlier today.
As per a report from **[Diario Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/charla-flick-lewandowski-112257256)**:
‘Before the training session, which started about twenty minutes late, Hansi Flick had a talk of about five minutes Robert Lewandowski.’
During their discussion, Lewandowski’s underwhelming weekend display is understood to have featured prominently, with both parties having made clear their desire for an improvement against Mallorca in 24 hours’ time.
