Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, had a goalscoring machine in the form of Viktor Gyokeres at Sporting CP.
However, the Portuguese boss lacks a top finisher at Old Trafford and therefore, the Red Devils are in the market to reinforce the position.

According to The People, Man Utd have “legitimate” interest in signing Egyptian international and Frankfurt star, Omar Marmoush.
The 20-time English champions sent scout to see him in the Europa League contest last week and he scored the winning goal against Midtjylland.
Yesterday, the 25-year-old netted a brace in the 4-0 Bundesliga victory over Heidenheim and is now just a goal behind league’s top scorer, Harry Kane.
In all competitions this term, so far, the African machine has started 18 games for Frankfurt and directly contributed in no fewer than 28 goals. So, it is not surprising that he is a wanted man in the market.
Apart from Man Utd, the British news source claim that the likes of Liverpool, Spurs, Barca and PSG are also interested in Omar Marmoush.
It is stated that the German side could ask for a fee closer to £60million for their prized asset.
At the moment, Marcus Rashford is the top goal scorer for Manchester United in the Premier League this season with just four goals. Not to forget, he reached that tally after netting a brace against Everton yesterday.
Without a prolific striker, Amorim would not be able to bring glory days back to Old Trafford and hence, a proven forward must be signed.
In your opinion, should Man Utd bid £60million to secure Omar Marmoush from Frankfurt?
