West Ham are eyeing Massimiliano Allegri as a potential replacement for Julen Lopetegui, according to the Guardian.
The news outlet reported that along with the Italian, Sergio Conceicao is also being considered by the Hammers hierarchy.
However, a decision to sack Lopetegui has not yet been made by the Hammers hierarchy but Allegri was spotted in London recently.
Max Allegri would be a big-name hire for West Ham
Allegri, while known for his pragmatic and often defensively-minded approach to football, has an impressive track record that would make him a prestigious appointment, given the 15 trophies he’s won in his managerial career.
His tenure in Serie A, particularly with Juventus, where he clinched five consecutive league titles from 2015 to 2019, along with four Coppa Italia titles and two Supercoppa Italiana trophies, showcases his ability to secure silverware.
