Sean Dyche retains the backing of Farhad Moshiri at Everton, according to Sky Sports.

It is reported that the Englishman will remain in charge at Goodison Park ahead of the crucial Premier League clash against Wolves on 4 December.

The Friedkin Group are expected to complete their takeover within weeks, and a change of manager is said to be highly unlikely before that happens.

Sean Dyche sack update at Everton

This is not the news that many wanted to hear at Goodison Park.

Everton were nothing short of abysmal at Old Trafford as they crashed to a 4-0 defeat against Manchester United on 1 December.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES

Yes, Dyche cannot prepare for individual mistakes from his players, but the way he is setting up this side is holding them back and not getting them ready to pick up consistent wins.

With Moshiri still in charge, Dyche will not be sacked, it is as simple as that.

Things will change once The Friedkin Group are in charge though, with The Esk recently stating that Dyche and Moshiri will be consigned to history within weeks.

There is nothing stopping Moshiri and the Friedkins from agreeing to sack Dyche before that takeover is completed, but something drastic would need to happen again, it seems [The Esk].

Everton will go into their massive game against Wolves with Dyche in charge, and he desperately needs three points to go another month in the job, never mind anything more.

In other Everton news, Alan Pardew has shared his verdict on Dyche possibly getting sacked.
