Ipswich Town attacker Jack Clarke hopes his first goal for the club could lead to many.
The 24-year-old bagged 15 goals for Championship club Sunderland last season before joining the Blues in a £15m deal.
Eight of his 11 Premier League appearances so far this campaign have come off the bench, but there's a good chance he could start either tonight's home clash with Crystal Palace or Sunday's visit of Bournemouth.
"I've enjoyed every minute of it so far," he said. "I feel like we're on the right trajectory. Some of the performances have mirrored what the manager described it would be like when I spoke to him in the summer. I'm just happy to be a part of it.
"That first goal for Ipswich is something I'm still waiting for and I'm hoping it comes sooner rather than later. Once you see that first one go in it changes your mindset. Over the last couple of seasons once the first one's gone in then a few more have followed, so hopefully that can be the case again.
"The sort of impact you can have as a sub depends on the game situation. The two where I came on and played for 10 men (Brentford and Leicester) made it more difficult, but you always try and do the best you can.
"For me now it's about trying to get in the team, stay in the team and showcase what I can do."

On facing Palace, who are also on nine points towards the bottom end of the table, Clarke said: "We know it's going to be a tough game. They've got a lot of individual quality and we've not had as much prep time as usual, but hopefully we can be the better team on the night.
"I know Eberechi Eze from our time together at QPR. He's a top player and someone I tried to emulate a little bit in terms of what he can do with the ball. I think everybody knows he's a real big threat and is someone we're going to have to look out for.
"His journey is something to admire, in terms of where he's started to representing his country, and that's something I'm aspiring to myself."
With tonight the first of two home games in six days, he added: "You always get a bigger sense of excitement playing at home in front of your own fans. Hopefully we can put on some performances for them."
