Nottingham Forest will likely go in search of more new players when the transfer window opens next month.
The Reds have started like a house on fire this season and currently have 22 points from 13 games of the 2024/25 campaign
Forest are performing well under Nuno Espirito Santo and he’s worked tirelessly this summer to make the Reds into a solid, well-rounded outfit.
Chris Wood scored the only goal of the game on Saturday as Forest beat Ipswich 1-0.
Forest striker Wood has now equalled Bryan Roy at the top of the goalscoring charts from a Forest perspective.
Some new recruits might be on the horizon for January with Forest linked with Yuri Alberto from Corinthians.

According to Africa Foot, Forest are one of a clutch of clubs wanting to sign N’Diaye during the January transfer window.
MORE FOREST STORIES
It’s claimed that Forest are at the front of the queue to sign the left-back and could make a move to land him during the January transfer window.
Anderlecht signed N’Diaye from the Barcelona academy and he’s earned the right to play top-flight football in Belgium with his current club.
It’s claimed in the report that Forest have made the 22-year-old a priority for January and would offer the player a five-year contract to bring him to the Premier League.
However, it might not be easy to sign the player next month. He has a contract until 2027 and the club might need convincing to let him go.
Forest will once again go for quality over quantity in January
Evangelos Marinakis wants to go into the transfer market next month.
The Greek businessman is keen to leave no stone unturned and ultimately, if he gets his way, Forest will be playing European football in the near future.

As a result, new recruits will be identified and perhaps N’Diaye wouldn’t be a bad addition.
He would fit the mantra of a player with a profile that Forest have liked in the past with his age meaning he should have bags of potential.
Quality over quantity served Forest will in the summer and the club shouldn’t be tempted to steer away from that in January either.
