West Ham are yet to make an approach to Sergio Conceicao to be their next manager, according to the Guardian.
The news outlet reported on 2 December that there is support within the club hierarchy to hire the former Porto manager.
It’s understood that Julen Lopetegui’s future is being considered at the club after the 5-2 defeat against Arsenal.
West Ham have to move on from Julen Lopetegui
Lopetegui’s tenure at the London Stadium has been underwhelming, failing to instill the necessary tactical coherence or uplift the team’s performance as expected.
Despite the significant investment in the squad, results and performances have been disappointing, with the recent 5-2 defeat to Arsenal highlighting a lack of planning from the manager and his staff.

In contrast, Conceicao emerges as an appealing alternative.
His time at Porto was marked by a strong record, multiple trophies including three Primeira Liga titles, and a reputation for nurturing talent.
