Everton midfielder James Garner may be set for an imminent return to individual training after his injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that if the Englishman is on course to be fit by mid December, he may return to some kind of training on the grass in the coming days.

The 23-year-old last featured for the Toffees on 5 October when he played the full 90 minutes against Newcastle.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Garner: “If the return date of mid December is true, then I’d expect him to return in early December.

“This is another long-term injury so the runway will be longer.
