West Ham fans look away now as incredibly embarrassing revelation comes to light

West Ham United have endured an incredibly challenging start to the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.

Julen Lopetegui seems to be bereft of ideas, and his time in charge of West Ham United could soon be coming to an end.

The likes of Graham Potter and Sergio Conceicao are said to be potential replacements for Lopetegui at West Ham.

It would be no surprise at all to see the Spaniard sacked.

If the Hammers fail to pick up four points as a bare minimum from our next two games, I personally think Lopetegui will be moved on.

Whilst the buck stops with Lopetegui, his players need to take some responsibility for a change.

They have all underperformed this season, there is no hiding from that fact.

And now a new revelation has come to light that shines the spotlight squarely on just how bad we have been this season.

Embarrassing revelation about West Ham players this season

We all know that things haven’t gone well at all this season.

We have defended terribly as a unit and have attacked without any discernible patterns of play.

Nobody is talking about one really embarrassing revelation though…

Tomas Soucek is our joint top scorer in the Premier League so far alongside Jarrod Bowen with three goals.

The next name on the list with two goals – our right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

It’s just embarrassing really isn’t it, considering the quality of our attacking players.

Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus have two league goals to their names as well, but that’s nothing to shout about.

Bowen, Kudus and Paqueta are all good enough to record at least 20 goal contributions per season.

However, all three of them are well off the pace, if they are going to end up anywhere near those kind of figures.

It’s easy to criticise Lopetegui, but the players seem to get away scot-free don’t they.

They should not be immune from criticism, and all of our key men need to seriously buck their ideas up.

I don’t think that Lopetegui is the man for the job at West Ham, but his players have let him down as well.

The top scorers list for the season so far is evidence of that as far as I’m concerned.
