Having started his senior managerial career at Barcelona in 2008, Pep Guardiola has virtually undergone every possible experience at every club he has been in charge of.
However, Guardiola’s recent weeks at Manchester City must have even took as seasoned a campaigner as he is by surprise.
The Catalan has never managed a team in his career that has been winless in seven consecutive games — emphasising how poor City have been for much of the ongoing season.
Pep Guardiola’s prediction about Manchester City is that they will start to put together a string of wins off the back of their 2-0 loss against Liverpool.
Kyle Walker assured Manchester City fans that his side will “rise to the challenge” as well.

Pep Guardiola’s behaviour during Man City’s struggles emerges
Even Ruben Dias informed Manchester City supporters that despite their defeat against Arne Slot’s side, they will approach their subsequent games with a burning desire to come out on top.
Considering how successful City have been under Guardiola, it is no surprise that they seem to have an unsatiable appetite to win games again.
But a report by The Athletic has revealed that behind the scenes, Pep Guardiola has isolated himself, as he often tends to “reflect and analyse” on where his Manchester City side have faltered without any external distractions.
The two-time treble-winner’s office is door has been closed and his phone has been switched off during the period.
At other times, he has also been disappointed by not being able to say the correct things to his players after such concerning results.
Pep Guardiola was especially regretful of his “dramatic” team talk following Manchester City’s 4-0 hammering at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur.
In his apartment in the city centre, Guardiola reminded himself over coffee that during such adversity, it is his responsibility as the Sky Blues manager to be able to handle such trying times, with the players expected to follow suit from his behaviour.
Micah Richards suspects Manchester City’s dressing room is an unhappy place at this moment in time, claiming that his gut feeling suggests things are far from rosy behind closed doors.
Arne Slot says “no one” should feel sorry for Guardiola
Arne Slot commented on Pep Guardiola by claiming that despite his struggles, there is no need to empathise with him.
The Liverpool boss claimed that the Catalan’s incredible career and Manchester City still being well-placed to win the Premier League title are reasons why one should not feel sorry for him.
Slot said: “You feel sympathy or empathy for managers that are in a really bad place. So, they’ve either lost many games or they’re down at the bottom of the league. Pep [Guardiola] has won so many things.”
“And he’s shown so many times already, that’s why the league is not decided in November or December. Last season, they were eight points behind Arsenal somewhere in February. So, no one has to feel empathy or sorry for Pep.”
“Maybe for other managers, not for Pep, he’s won so many things and he will be able to bring City back and they’re actually still at the top of the table but even more than they are now.”
Pep Guardiola will be looking to bounce back and remind the world why they should fear his Manchester City juggernaut.
