Manchester City fans have been very alarmed over the past few weeks as results have taken a turn for the worse.
Manchester City made a great start to the 2024/25 season, but it’s all unravelled since the start of November.
City are currently on a seven-game winless run and in truth, that run could well have been even longer, with the club only narrowly beating the likes of Fulham, Southampton and Wolves.
Pep Guardiola has a lot to consider at the moment.
There are quite a few issues, and the loss of Rodri has perhaps proven the most significant thing so far.
Fans cannot wait for January, because it could be that City actually sign a couple of players for once. And one report believes he could even bring in up to three new faces.

According to Give Me Sport, Guardiola has his sights set on making up to three new signings in January, in a bid to get the club back on track.
Guardiola is said to have initially wanted a quiet window, as usual. But circumstances have changed, and the urgency for new players has increased.
He is now welcoming the idea of a few new faces – and it’s actually suggested which positions he could address.
First and foremost, a new holding midfielder is on the agenda, which will come as no real surprise given how badly City have coped without Rodri.
Secondly, the Manchester City manager could also seek to bring in another striker to act as an understudy to Erling Haaland.
And finally, City could also move for a new left-back.
Guardiola will be backed by the hierarchy, and it’s claimed that the club will be willing to spend big if the opportunity presents itself and a deal can be completed speedily.
Some are hoping to see Martin Zubimendi sign, with Rodri having advised City to sign the midfielder.
Man City need to act
the last seven games have shown that this Manchester City squad needs some additions. And it needs additions as soon as possible.
The form of some players has been really worrying. Kyle Walker and Ilkay Gundogan look like shadows of their former selves, and Bernardo Silva has really disappointed as well.
There is a strange situation with Kevin De Bruyne right now and the Belgian looks as though he won’t be having a major impact this season.
But if are to make one signing above all else in January, it needs to be a specialist holding midfielder.
Rodri is irreplaceable, but Guardiola needs a strong option to play in there than Gundogan and Bernardo.
City are said to have fears about Mateo Kovacic’s fitness, which is all the more reason to get someone in in that position.
