The latest injury news and fitness updates from Wolves ahead of Wednesday night’s visit to Premier League rivals Everton.
After the positivity of their 4-1 win at Fulham two weeks ago, Wolves came crashing back down to earth when they fell to a 4-2 home defeat against Bournemouth on Saturday that ensured O’Neil’s men remained in the Premier League relegation zone. However, a crucial trio of fixtures lie in wait over the next ten days as Wolves face three sides sat in and around them in the table.
A Monday night visit to West Ham United is on the agenda for next week and that is followed by a home game against Ipswich Town on the middle Saturday of the month. However, first up is a trip to Everton on Wednesday night and a win at Goodison Park would see O’Neil’s men leapfrog the Toffees in the table. The Wolves boss is facing up to a number of absentees ahead of the game - but what is the latest injury news from Molineux?
Boubacar Traoré
The midfielder has made just one appearance this season and that came in a Carabao Cup win against Burnley in August. A meniscus injury means he will not return until next month and O’Neil has already suggested Traore is likely be back in contention by Christmas Expected return date: Late December.
Enso González
The Paraguayan winger made his Premier League debut with a late substitute appearance against Crystal Palace in May - and is not expected to return this season. Speaking earlier this season, O’Neil said: “He's beginning his strength phase. He's a few months ahead of Yerson. He responded really well to the initial surgery and is back in the gym working hard, so he's right on track with where we'd expect him to be.” Expected return date: Summer 2025

Over the next days and weeks, we’ll start to really map out what the rehab looks like.” Expected return date: Summer 2025
Sasa Kalajdzic
The striker is still recovering from a cruciate ligament injury he suffered during his time on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt. However, he has stepped up his bid to return to contention and O’Neil has suggested Kalajdzic could return early in the new year Expected return date: Early January 2025
Pedro Lima
The Brazilian full-back has made just two appearances since joining Wolves during the summer and they both came in Carabao Cup ties against Burnley and Brighton. However, he has not featured in a matchday squad since a Premier League clash with the latter of that duo and he current has no return from the ankle injury he suffered during the draw with the Seagulls Expected return date: Unknown
