Juventus manager Thiago Motta has hinted that he is not looking at making any January transfers next month despite links with Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee.
Last month, MEN Sport reported that figures behind the scenes at Old Trafford were starting to grow concerned as to whether the Dutch striker had what it takes to make it at United. At the time, Zirkzee had only scored once in 17 appearances for the Reds.
This came amid reports elsewhere that a return to Italy could be on the cards for Zirkzee in the near future as United looked to strengthen their attack under new head coach Ruben Amorim. Both Juventus and Napoli were named as potential interested parties for Zirkzee with the latter club potentially interested in a swap deal with Victor Osimhen arriving at Old Trafford.

Since then, Zirkzee has had a sudden return to form bagging a brace on Sunday during the 4-0 victory over Everton in the Premier League. An exit from Old Trafford now seems a little less likely, especially considering the fact Motta is thought to now be happy with his options in Turin.
Speaking to reporters, the 42-year-old said: "The market will open in January and we are in total harmony with the club. I am very happy with the players I have.
"I hope that the injured players can return soon to be able to help the rest of the team." Zirkzee will be hoping he can keep his place in the United team in midweek when the Reds travel to Arsenal in the Premier League.
Fellow striker Rasmus Hojlund bagged a brace on his last start for the club meaning the battle to lead the line is one providing a healthy headache for Amorim.
