Curtis Jones laughed as his girlfriend made a mistake. The Liverpool FC midfielder is enjoying a sensational start to the season under Arne Slot.

Curtis came off the bench in an impressive cameo as the reds defeated Manchester City at the weekend as they kept their place at the top of the Premier League table. Away from the pitch, it’s been a busy few months for the Scouse midfielder.

Curtis has been in a relationship with Saffie Khan, a Scouse model, for a number of years. Saffie, a graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University, announced the birth of the couple's baby girl Giselle back in October.

The Scouser has started her own YouTube channel to showcase more of her personal life. In her first vlog, the pair were seen enjoying a trip to London last month while Curtis was in the squad for the England national team.

Saffie showed herself and baby Giselle watching on from the stands in Wembley as Curtis was brought off the bench against the Republic of Ireland. The day after, Saffie went shopping in Selfridges on Oxford Street.

However, when she went to film a piece talking about her new clothes from luxury fashion brand Acne Studios, Saffie realised she’d made a mistake. She said: “Guys, I'm going to have to film this clip on my phone because we've had a slight issue. I left my camera in Selfridges Oxford Street but it's been handed in to the lost property, so I'm going to go back in the morning and pick it up."

Laughing, she added: “Honestly, the beginning of my vlogging journey is not really working out, but we will get there. I can't believe that's happened, honestly. And I'm so glad it's been found because I bought that camera the other day and I spent a lot of money on it, so I would have been sad.

“But anyway, I got a really nice top from Acne Studios in Selfridges, so I'll show you that. I was going to film this on my camera and then I got in and realized it wasn't in my bag, so I had a bit of a nightmare there.”

The next day, the couple made a trip to Harrods first to get some food before retrieving the camera from Selfridges. Curtis laughed as Saffie tried to continue filming on her phone in the meantime.

Saffie said: “Does anyone else get completely lost in Harrods every time? It stresses me out so much. He's laughing at me trying to vlog because it's a half-failed attempt, we still haven't got my camera back. We're going to the third floor to get some coffee."

Saffie was reunited with her camera later in the day. After purchasing some gym clothes, she was relieved that she was able to buy such items with confidence again.

She said: “It's so nice being able to buy gym sets again because when you're pregnant you have to size up and stuff, and you just think, it's only going to last me a few months, and then I won't be able to wear it anymore. So I feel like I stopped buying a lot of stuff when I was pregnant. I've just been waiting to get my size back, and know my actual size, and be able to buy it again.”
