Arsenal have truly re-established themselves as one of the best teams in Europe over the past few years.
Indeed, the Gunners haved put up some incredible points totals over the past two years, and, in any other era, they would have some silverware to show for their brilliance.
Arsenal have just fallen short in the Premier League title race over the past two years, but they still have one of the best squads in world football.
William Saliba is one of the world’s best defenders, while Martin Odegaard is a world class player.
Speaking on Rio Ferdinand’s podcast, Jorginho has been discussing Bukayo Saka’s ability and his potential, and the midfielder reckons that Saka has the ability to one day be a Ballon d’Or winner.

Bukayo Saka could win the Ballon d’Or
Jorginho discussed Saka’s ability alongside Rio Ferdinand.
The midfielder claimed that Saka is an unbelievable player who could win the Ballon d’Or.
“How good is this guy (Saka)?” Ferdinand asked.
“Unbelievable,” Jorginho said.
“Is he world class?” Ferdinand asked.
“World class. I said to him, I want to see you win the Ballon d’Or. I said to him,” Jorginho answered.
“He’s capable of winning the Ballon d’Or, yeah?” Ferdinand queried.
“I believe so. I believe in him. I believe in him. Yeah. I hope he believes in himself as well,’ Saka replied.
Bukayo Saka compared to Ballon d’Or contenders
Jorginho says that Saka could win the Ballon d’Or one day, and there may be no reason why he can’t do that this season.
Indeed, Saka is performing just as well as the top players in Europe this season.

*Playing outside of a top five league
With no major international tournament at the end of the season, Saka is very much in the mix to win this award this year.
Of course, club trophies do weigh heavily in the voting for the Ballon d’Or, but if Arsenal can win the Premier League and maybe even the Champions League, Saka will be amongst the favourites for the Golden Ball.
There’s no real runaway Ballon d’Or contender this year, and with the award more up for grabs than ever, perhaps Saka can emerge as the winner if Arsenal can continue their recent good form.
Of course, it’s still early days this season, but Saka certainly has a shout of winning the Ballon d’Or if he can keep this level up.
