Jamie Carragher took aim at employers Sky Sports
Sky Sports have deleted a clip in which they discussed the fallout from Liverpool's win over Manchester City, following a public complaint from Jamie Carragher.
Pep Guardiola's side were defeated 2-0 at Anfield to find themselves languishing 11 points behind the Reds, and outside of the top four. Goals from Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah ensured a sixth defeat in seven matches for City, with many now questioning whether they remain in the title race at all.
Former Liverpool defender Carragher believes City's chances are now over, such is the gap to Arne Slot's team. The current Premier League champions' situation reminds the pundit of where their rivals found themselves previously. "This season, Manchester City will not be winning the Premier League," he said on Super Sunday. "I don’t think there is any way back.

"It is almost a mini-crisis for Manchester City, and I think it’s reminiscent of Liverpool two years ago. I actually think Man City might have a fight on their hands for the top four."
Those comments were presented by Rob Wooton to guests Stephen Warnock and Sue Smith on Monday's Football Show. However, in doing so, Wooton claimed Carragher believed City would not finish inside the top four.
The segment, also released in a clip, left Carragher frustrated. The 46-year-old was unafraid to call out his employers on social media.

Replying to a post of the debate, now deleted, he suggested his words had been twisted. "I said I fancied Arsenal and Chelsea to finish above City!" he posted on X. "They may have a fight on their hands for fourth but I’m confident they’ll get it. Not like the presenter to twist my words!!!"
Meanwhile, Liverpool boss Slot took a dig at Carragher's co-worker Gary Neville, when it was put to him the former Manchester United captain believed the Reds were now title favourites.
"It's the first time he does so. He had a different opinion at the start of the season about us," said Slot. "Which probably most people had, so he's not the only one - except for our fans.
"I've said many times already, we don't look at it at this moment like this. We know we have a difficult week coming up. We thought Real Madrid and City were difficult games to face, which they were as well. I think it's even harder to go to an away game to Newcastle.
"We're not even half way through the season yet but it's a good position to be in."
