Everton face a busy January transfer window, both in terms of outgoings and incomings, with Jarrad Branthwaite to be one of the main focuses.
Jarrad Branthwaite has established himself as a key member of Sean Dyche‘s defence at Everton, despite only being 22 years old.
The defender had an afternoon to forget against the Red Devils, as he directed Marcus Rashford’s shot into his own goal and gave the ball away for United’s second.
However, let’s take nothing away from the quality and maturity he’s shown at Everton this season, with Branthwaite even attracting the attention of Real Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti.
Everton have plans of their own for Branthwaite, but it appears as if they won’t bother offering him a new deal unless one condition is met.

It’s stated that Jarrad Branthwaite has remained on Manchester United’s radar. There is little expectation anyone will look to get close to the £70m valuation this winter.
Will Jarrad Branthwaite leave in January?
Jarrad Branthwaite’s valuation of £70 million likely won’t be met in January by Manchester United or Liverpool due to FFP and PSR reasons.
However, that may not stop them from testing the waters and trying to turn the player’s head.
Real Madrid have a better chance of doing so and the financial backing to reach the valuation, but it remains to be seen as to whether Branthwaite would want to move to Spain.
Branthwaite has already been advised to stay at Everton, and there is hope that the new stadium and potentially a new manager in the summer could persuade him.
