La Liga giants Barcelona are giving consideration to an offer for one of the great jewels of African football.
That’s according to **[Diario Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/barca-estudia-fichaje-gran-joya-112277708)**, citing Soccerladuma, who point towards Relebohile Mofokeng as the player in the sights of the Camp Nou brass.
Mofokeng, for his part, is a 20-year-old attacker, who generally operates on the left wing.
After something of a breakout season on the books of the Orlando Pirates last time out, the youngster has since gone from strength-to-strength, widely hailed for his standout performances across the campaign to date.
And such efforts, evidently, have not gone unnoticed across Europe.
As per Sport, a whole host of clubs from the Premier League are expressing an interest in bringing Mofokeng to England in the near future.
Also keeping a close eye on the situation, though, are the aforementioned Barcelona.
Amid an ongoing search for African talent, Mofokeng has been watched by the Blaugrana’s scouting team on a number of occasions of late.
This comes with a view to a potential offer for his signature.
Should any such move come to fruition, the South African international would be expected, at least initially, to link up with Barca Atlètic.
