Aston Villa manager Unai Emery hasn't ruled Emi Martinez out of featuring against Brentford on Wednesday night despite his hand injury.
It had been reported that the goalkeeper suffered a finger fracture in the first half of Villa's defeat to Chelsea on Sunday, but Emery confirmed that it was a hairline fracture instead.
"We are going to train this afternoon and I don’t know how he is going to feel," the Villa manager said. "It depends on the training today. He could be in for tomorrow or not."

Villa's back-to-back home matches this week come against the two sides with the joint-worst away records in the division. Brentford and Southampton have each only taken one point on their travels in the league so far this term, conceding a combined 25 goals.
Villa are unbeaten in their last four matches against Brentford, having been winless in their previous eight. The Bees have never won an away match against Villa and have lost nine of their last 10 Premier League games against sides that finished in the top four the previous season, with the only exception being a 1-1 draw with Manchester United in March.
They drawing 0-0 with Everton after the November international break, Brentford thrashed Leicester City 4-1 at the Gtech Community Stadium last weekend.
