**Arsenal**wants to sign Adam Wharton by January to replace injured midfielders problems in the squad.
Arsenal’s midfield problems:
Arsenal have a lot of problems in the midfield. Two midfielders have been met with an injuries in the middle of the month. Thomas Partey will not be able to play against West Ham United along with Mikel Merino. Both of these players have been ruled out with injuries as well. They should look forward to replacing these two players for the upcoming games. They have been a very crucial part in the team as well. Mikel Arteta is now looking forward to make more tactical changes to the team to play against West Ham. Their absence have been very much noted in the team as well.
These players are now looking forward to fill his absence by other players. Jorginho and Declan Rice along with the Arsenal Skipper, Martin is now playing in the midfield for Arsenal. The players have been great for the team as well. They performed very well too. The trio have been a very crucial part of the team as well. In the match against Nottingham Forest, Jorginho played really well but he was subbed off because he got a yellow card very early on in the game. Martin have always been good for the Gunners as well. The Arsenal skipper is known for his dynamic playstyle and passing. He have been very great in attacking as well.
Replacements:
He provides a lot of good passes for the team as well. Declan Rice have also been a very great signing for Arsenal as well. He is a good physical presence in the team. The player have been very good defensively and at the same time he scored a lot of good goals for the team as well. He have been a great player in the Arsenal squad. Martinelli replaced Leandro Trossard in the wing as well. He have been performing very great too.

Leandro Trossard however have not been getting a lot of game time but he still performs very well though. All the**Arsenal**players are very dynamic and crucial for the team as well. However, at the moment Arsenal are facing less injury issues than before. Ben White have been suffering from a severe knee injury at the moment. He will go through a knee surgery at the moment and then hopefully return to training by February.
How good is Thomas Partey?
Thomas Partey is an injury prone player. Ghana did not include him in their squad. He is a very good player as well. Partey have been very good for **Arsenal**as well. The squad have been missing the depth because of his absence from the team. Thomas Partey have been a great physical presence in the Arsenal squad. He makes great tackles as well as provide a lot of crucial passes for the team as well. He is injured at the moment and he will not be able to play against West Ham.
How good is Mikel Merino?
Mikel Merino was one of the biggest Arsenal signings this season. The fans expected a lot from him. He performs really well for the team as well. However, he have been injured as well. The player was injured on the first day as well. He is still injured now. Mikel Merino will most probably not play in the West Ham match for the Arsenal squad. There are still hopes about his return very soon. However, we do not know how severe his injury is.
Wharton Update:
Arsenal is also looking to sign Wharton from West Ham at the moment to replace the injured player most probably for a loan deal.
