La Liga giants Barcelona are hopeful of having Ansu Fati back available for selection at some point over the next couple of weeks.
That’s according to Diario AS, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
Wide-man Ansu, for his part, has of course been sidelined since early last month.
As much comes owing to a hamstring injury suffered during a training session at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
Fresh on the back of a prior spell on the treatment table with a foot problem, the setback marked a heavy one for a player working tirelessly to carve out a meaningful place for himself in Hansi Flick’s squad.
All of a Barcelona persuasion, in turn, will no doubt be happy to hear of Ansu closing on a return to the pitch.
As per a report from Blaugrana insider **[Javier Miguel of Diario AS](https://as.com/futbol/primera/flick-se-pone-serio-n/?ssm=TW_CC)**:
‘In principle, Ansu Fati should be available in about two weeks.’
