Former Liverpool defender Ryan Babel has said that Arsenal should sign a top-class striker in January to help them win the title.
The Gunners have been linked to several world-class attackers but are yet to sign one and Mikel Arteta has been forced to start Kai Havertz up front.

Havertz has scored five Premier League goals so far this season, but he is not a natural number nine and the Gunners may decide to add one in January.
They are currently nine points off league leaders Liverpool who come off the back of a 2-0 win against Manchester City.
Arsenal sit in second place after a 5-2 win against West Ham and they now have four wins in a row in all competitions coming off the international break in November.
However, in order to catch up to Liverpool, Babel believes that the Gunners should add a number nine to help score more goals.
He told Instant Casino: “I think that could be the difference for Arsenal between winning the Premier League title. They do have good players up front, but Arsenal’s No. 9 position is not a position where you are guaranteed 25 goals, unlike Man City with Haaland.
“Respectfully, Havertz is a good player. If you compare the strikers in the past like Robin van Persie, Thierry Henry – Havertz is not in that category. He’s a good player, I’m not disrespecting, but that in my opinion is the reality. I feel like Arsenal should still aim for those types of players and that could maybe lift them, and help the level go up a notch.”
Arsenal have been linked to several strikers
The Gunners may decide to make a move for a new striker in January as they have been linked to multiple world-class attackers.
Viktor Gyokeres was linked over a move to the Emirates in the summer and remains a transfer target for Arsenal after he has scored 16 goals in 12 league games for Sporting CP this season.
Meanwhile, Victor Osmihen is also available to sign and recent reports have suggested that Ivan Toney may now be keen on making a move back to the Premier League following on from his £40m move to the Saudi Pro League in the summer.
