Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta says he can already see how Ruben Amorim has changed Manchester United on the pitch as the two clubs prepare to face each other this week.
The Gunners hosts the Red Devils at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night, with kickoff slated for 8.15pm UK time.
It will be Amorim‘s third Premier League match in charge since replacing Erik ten Hag as manager last month, having drawn with Ipswich Town away and beaten Everton at Old Trafford.
“You can see his fingerprints straight away. He has been very clear,” Arteta said of the Portuguese tactician at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.

“He has been very successful with Sporting. It’s remarkable, after so many years, what he achieved there, especially the way he did it.
“It brings energy and new ideas to the club and the players. That’s always something positive but we have to focus on what we have to do.”
Arteta says he is not out for revenge after Amorim’s Sporting side knocked Arsenal out of the Uefa Europa League in 2023.
“Not revenge. In football it’s about another opportunity. It’s going to be very different. We played against Sporting last week and it was very different to two years ago. It has no meaning.”
Arsenal will welcome Man Utd back to north London next month after the sides were drawn together in the third round of the FA Cup.
“It’s going to be a big match again,” Arteta said. “It’s a little bit the story of the last few seasons, that in the third or fourth round we play a really big opponent. But you have to beat the big teams to win it.”
