Leeds United winger Jack Harrison will not have his Everton loan terminated in the new year, with the Toffees eager to keep him for the rest of the campaign due to the size of their squad.
After failing to gain promotion back to the Premier League back in May, Leeds had an extra headache to contend with in the following weeks with loan clauses still present in a couple of contracts.
One of those was Jack Harrison, going from hero to villain amongst the Elland Road faithful, having won promotion under Marcelo Bielsa and then jumping ship after relegation to secure two successive loan moves to Everton.

Jack Harrison staying put at Everton during January window
Harrison’s performances at Goodison Park haven’t exactly seen the Toffees fans warm to him recently, frustrated by his displays as another relegation battle looms.
However, any discussion of a possible termination of his loan from Leeds is not taking place amongst the Everton board, according to TEAMtalk journalist Harry Watkinson.
He shared this on X:
Understand Everton have no plans to terminate Jack Harrison’s loan in January, despite rumours. Due to the small size of #EFC squad they have no intention of allowing him to leave. pic.twitter.com/2W7zcv5pMJ

Jack Harrison should never be welcome back at Leeds
Harrison burned his bridges by leaving the club and then securing a second successive loan exit in the summer just gone.
It’s blown back in his face, though, because he’s playing terribly at Everton and their fans are not happy with how little he offers for them out wide.
He won’t ever be welcome back here and the sooner we find a permanent buyer for a reasonable price, we need to be getting rid.
