**Arsenal** [**welcome rivals**](https://paininthearsenal.com/arsenal-vs-man-utd-preview-prediction-lineups-04-12-24) **Manchester United to the Emirates on Wednesday evening as they look to continue their winning form.**
The Gunners won [their last outing](https://paininthearsenal.com/west-ham-2-5-arsenal-player-ratings-30-11-24) as they thumped West Ham 5-2 at the London Stadium. There were five individual goalscorers for Mikel Arteta's side with Gabriel Magalhaes, Leandro Trossard, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka all getting on the scoresheet.
Man Utd are now led by Ruben Amorim, who has enjoyed an unbeaten start to his tenure through the first three games. The Red Devils doubtessly provide a stiffer test under Amorim than they would've done had Erik ten Hag still be in charge.
There are three key talking points ahead of a tough clash against a somewhat revived rival.

Arsenal have got themselves back on track in recent weeks, winning their past three games in all competitions. Their improvement in form has fired them up to second in the table but they're still nine points behind leaders Liverpool.
The contest with Man Utd is a chance for the Gunners to maintain their momentum and keep themselves in the minds of the seemingly runaway Liverpool squad. A win is crucial for Arsenal to keep up their current form and remain in the title race.
It also gets a tough fixture out of the way as Arsenal face a 'big six' opponent for the fifth time this season. Despite their mixed form over the years, United have always posed a threat to the Gunners and ran them close at the Emirates under Ten Hag.
Nevertheless, maintaining their momentum is crucial for Arsenal when they face Man United.
