Serie A side Juventus are eyeing a potential transfer for Benfica’s Antonio Silva next summer.
According to a [report](https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Calciomercato/Juventus/03-12-2024/mercato-juve-in-difesa-su-antonio-silva-danilo-resta.shtml?refresh_ce) by **La Gazzetta dello Sport**, Juventus have set their sights on landing the signature of Benfica defender Antonio Silva during the next transfer window.
The Bianconeri aim to use super agent Jorge Mendes’ help to streamline the Portuguese’s potential arrival at the club. Mendes has worked well as an intermediary in Juventus’ favour numerous times since the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo and recently in the case of Francisco Conceicao.
The Old Lady have tried to agree on a loan deal with the agent for Silva a few days back but a clear ‘no’ was received from the player’s side as he wants a permanent stay.
Juventus are exploring other options too in the profiles of David Hancko and Milan Skriniar if things do not turn out their way in the Antonio Silva front.
