The Chelsea manager will have known as soon as he took the job over the summer that it was going to be a struggle for him to give all of his new players their desired amounts of gametime.
Enzo Maresca has managed his squad brilliantly so far this season, with them more than competing in the Premier League and topping the table in the Conference League.
Their top scorer in all competitions has just one Premier League start to his name this season. Christopher Nkunku is reportedly unhappy with his minutes this season that accompany his 11 goals.
He has at least been an ever-present starter in the cup competitions this season, with some top players not even being afforded that luxury.

Carney Chukwuemeka’s agents pushing to get him move from Chelsea
The likes of Carney Chukwuemeka have not been handed a single start for the Blues this season, despite seeming to shake off the injury record that plagued his first full campaign at the club.
After being described by Todd Boehly as ‘exciting’ when he first joined the club, it is looking dangerously like the midfielder’s career at Stamford Bridge is going to peter out.
This seems to have been backed up by the fact that journalist Graeme Bailey has told The Chelsea Chronicle that his people are now working hard on getting him an exit from the club.
Chukwuemeka wants to stay in London
It has previously been reported Chukwuemeka would prefer to stay in London if he was to leave the Blues, opening up the possibility of a move to the likes of West Ham and Crystal Palace.

It seems as if the big three in midfield have really taken a step above the rest in recent weeks. Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez and Romeo Lavia were all handed a start against Aston Villa at the weekend.
Chukwuemeka has therefore fallen to the back of the queue when it comes to minutes at Stamford Bridge, and this could see him granted a move sooner rather than later.
