Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has put together a superb squad since taking the reins back in 2019.
The Gunners were previously struggling to even finish in the Premier League’s top four, but now they’re regularly challenging for the title.
In addition, the Arsenal dressing room is now more united than even, with Arteta making sure every player has the right character along with the talent.
On Tuesday, the Gunners media team spoke to some of the players and asked them who they think is the funniest teammate in the dressing room.
And most of the players interviewed gave one name in particular, with one joking that said player is “crazy”.

Oleksandr Zinchenko deemed the funniest Arsenal player
The player in question is Oleksandr Zinchenko, and he was deemed the funniest Arsenal player by Raheem Sterling, Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Mikel Merino.
Sterling said Zinchenko “just doesn’t stop talking”, while Havertz said “I don’t know why, he’s just funny”.
Rice emphatically answered Zinchenko “by far” when asked, and Merino said “he’s just crazy, he’s so funny”.
Meanwhile, Leandro Trossard went for Havertz as “he’s a good friend of mine” and Kieran Tierney said Rice because “he’s always up to something”.
Funny things Zinchenko has said and done
When Zinchenko joined Arsenal, he joked that he wanted to make sure the Gunners knew they had signed the right player from Manchester City.
“Do they know that I’m not De Bruyne? Straight away I need to ask because maybe they’re confused,” he said, as per football.london. “You surprised me, you surprised me a bit.”
Zinchenko then said: “[The comparison] was just in the beginning. I’m much, much, much more handsome than him!
“We’re not talking about football skills but come on, you cannot compare. He knows, he knows.”
Zinchenko was also the life of the party when he sung his initiation song (Friday by Riton x Nightcrawlers) in front of his Arsenal teammates.
The footage was posted on Aaron Ramsdale’s Instagram and shared by Sky Sports News.
Indeed, Manchester City’s Kyle Walker recently revealed he still speaks to Zinchenko, showing how popular he is.
