Futera officially announce deal with Newcastle United which will see new collectibles drop in…

· December 3 2024, 19:30

**If you have that part of your brain that means you can't resist collecting memorabilia for every little thing connected to your interests then we have some good/bad news for you (depending on your financial situation).**

As a sufferer of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) and having an overactive collectable gland, as well as a vastly underfunded bank account, I'm going to have to write this article quickly and then try to forget about its entire existence just as fast.

A partnership between Newcastle United and collectable card producer Futera was teased on social media around a 18 months ago and then all went quiet.

Now, as if from nowhere, they're back with the official announcement that Futera are an official licensee of Newcastle United.

Futera's Newcastle United collection will drop in early 2025

------------------------------------------------------------

Futera already produce card collections from other football clubs and I'm not going to lie, they look stunning (see below).

The Newcastle collection is set to launch in early 2025 which will include match-worn memorabilia and signed cards.

Futera are yet to give us any insight as to what the Newcastle United cards will look like, but we're sure they'll be dropping plenty of teasers leading up to the official launch next year.

Which camp to you belong to?

----------------------------

I'm sure something like this will divide the fanbase between those who absolutely do not see the point, and those who already have their internet browser open to Futera's store page waiting for the drop to be first in line to grab them.

With them being official merchandise, we imagine that the club will get a cut of the profits so if nothing else, you can tell your significant other you're just helping the club progress if they resist your urge to buy a bunch of cards.

Will you be grabbing yourself a set or do you not get the appeal?
