Sean Dyche rumour is completely false as Alan Myers reveals the Everton truth

Sean Dyche’s future at Everton is currently up in the air after a run of disappointing performances, with names of replacements being floated around on Merseyside.

Everton could soon be a part of ‘sacking season’ as things begin to hot up at Goodison Park.

The Manchester United results has things at tipping point, and the imminent takeover at Everton could bring about a change that Everton fans have been asking for.

With just two wins all season, that’s put the Toffees just above the relegation zone with a two point gap.

Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday night could prove fatal, though it’s unlikely the Toffees would make a change right before the Merseyside derby.

Interestingly, a managerial rumour involving Sean Dyche has been disproved by Alan Myers, as he reveals the truth on the current situation at Everton.

Alan Myers reveals truth behind Sean Dyche sacking and FFP

Last week rumours emerged of FFP standing in the way of a potential Sean Dyche sacking, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Everton already received a points deduction last season, so staying the right side of the line is crucial.

Alan Myers has revealed what he understands about the FFP/PSR situation and sacking Sean Dyche.

Speaking on his X account, Myers says there is no issue financially regarding decisions of that nature.

Who is being eyed as a replacement for Sean Dyche?

David Moyes is the favourite in the eyes of many outlets, including our very own Graeme Bailey.

Everton are believed to have lined Moyes up to replace Dyche, and he even rejected Leicester City’s advances due to wanting a potential return to Goodison Park.

Elsewhere it’s been reported that Sergio Conceicao is the number one target for the Friedkin Group.

However, it’s unlikely the prospective new owners would want to bring him in given he has no experience in the Premier League.

After all, it’s already a known fact that avoiding relegation is the main aim in the current campaign.
