Nottingham Forest will head to Manchester City on Wednesday night looking to cause an upset against the reigning champions.
Forest got back to winning ways after Chris Wood scored his ninth goal of the season during a 1-0 win over Ipswich Town on Saturday.
Wood has now drawn level with Bryan Roy with 24 goals in the Premier League for Forest and the record is now within his grasp.
Whether the talisman can edge ahead of Roy with a strike against City remains to be seen but the Reds will go there with nothing to lose.
Forest won’t be coming up against John Stones on Wednesday as he nurses an injury but Pep Guardiola will still field a formidable team.
The Reds will be looking to rattle Erling Haaland much like they did in 2023 and hopefully, the team can give a good account of themselves during the game.

Nottingham Forest star has wowed Nuno Espirito Santo in training
The Forest head coach has worked tirelessly to get things right during his first full season in charge, with pre-season plans now coming to fruition.
MORE FOREST STORIES
For the first time since returning to the Premier League, Forest have a settled squad and perhaps more crucially a settled starting eleven.
Forest now have a squad of players capable of stepping up and making an impact, with the substitutes bench feeling very strong this season.
One player who has made a huge impact without yet starting a game is central defender Morato who signed for the club from Benfica for £10 million.
Steve Hodge praised Morato on Saturday after his latest cameo appearance and now Espirito Santo has delivered some praise towards his central defender.
He told Nottinghamshire Live: “Every time he comes into the game, he’s done very well. His individual performance has always been very good because he always arrives in the game in a very stressful moment.
“But he is always very focused, very determined and he works very hard on the training ground. That is the big advantage we have in our back line – we have players who we can rely on and trust to do the job.”
Morato looks like a quality signing made by Forest
The left-sided central defender has Champions League experience and right now he’s got to be patient for a starting berth.
Nikola Milenkovic and Murillo are the first-choice centre-backs, with Morato often coming on to see games through when Forest are leading.
For £10 million, however, Morato looks like a very useful signing, to say the least, and he is providing brilliant competition for the place.
Morato has the big game experience that Forest needed to add and he will surely get some game time as the season progresses.
