Arsenal and Manchester United are set to lock horns in Wednesday night’s Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners will be eager to maintain their momentum and attempt to close the gap on Premier League leaders Liverpool.
However, Arsenal will be up against a Manchester United side that has been doing quite well since Erik ten Hag left Old Trafford.
Ruud van Nistelrooy steadied the ship and Ruben Amorim has begun life pretty well after taking the reins during the international break.
Man United are currently ninth in the table on 19 points, while Arsenal are second on 25 points, which is not a particularly huge gap.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has now given his thoughts on a potential Man United title charge over the coming months.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta does not rule Manchester United out of Premier League title race
The Arsenal media team asked Arteta whether the Red Devils can be in the title mix, and he didn’t want to rule anything out.
“It’s still very early in the season,” replied the Arsenal boss. “Any team that has the capacity to put five or six wins in a row is going to be up there.
“Because it’s so tough and you see every week how all the teams are struggling to maintain winning, winning and winning. So I think anything is possible.”
Arsenal and Man United fixtures over the festive period
Both Arsenal and Man United have eight fixtures between now and New Year’s Day.
After facing Man United, the Gunners have five Premier League fixtures – Fulham away, Everton at home, Crystal Palace away, Ipswich Town at home and Brentford away, with the last game taking place on New Year’s Day.
Arsenal also have a Champions League home game with Monaco and a Carabao Cup clash against Palace at the Emirates Stadium.
As for Man United, they will follow up the Arsenal fixture by hosting Nottingham Forest in the Premier League this Saturday.
The Red Devils then take on Plzen in the Europa League before heading to Manchester City in the Premier League and then playing away at Tottenham in the Carabao Cup.
Man United’s last game before Christmas is a Premier League home meeting with Bournemouth, and then Amorim’s charges head to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Boxing Day before seeing the year out with a home meeting with Newcastle United.
With so many league games between now and New Year’s Day, it could well be a case of musical chairs among the top ten over the coming weeks.
Although the hosts will be favourites – Paul Merson has predicted a 3-0 win for Arsenal against Man United – anything could happen, as Arteta said.
