The Brazilian scored twice against Mallorca to take his tally to 11 in 16 La Liga games for the Catalans this season.
He spoke to the media afterwards and made it clear he has no intention of slowing down.
> “I can say that I am at my best but I don’t want to stop here, I want to do more. I have a huge affection for this club,” he told Movistar.
>
> “We knew the importance of winning again. We knew that in the last three league games we lacked something to come out with a victory.
>
> “Today we were good, I wouldn’t say we played our best game but the most important thing was to win and we did it.”
Raphinha also had some kind words for Frenkie de Jong who came off the bench and grabbed a goal and an assist.
> “Frenkie helps us a lot, he works really hard, he’s one of our captains and we have a lot of affection for him and I’m sure everyone in the dressing room is very happy for him.”
Barcelona’s victory gets the team back to winning ways and the five goals will be a big confidence boost ahead of a clash with Betis next time out.
