Mudryk signed in January 2023 for a fee of £62m from Shakhtar Donetsk and has shown flashes of what he can do with the underlying word being inconsistency in a Chelsea shirt since he moved to Stamford Bridge.
Mudryk has scored three goals and five assists for Chelsea this season and could now see himself able to prove his worth elsewhere, as Caught Offside say that Newcastle United have emerged as a possible destination for the 23-year-old on a loan move in January.
If Mudryk was to move to St. James’ Park on loan, it could be beneficial to both teams as the winger would get more game time and experience in the Premier League, plus he could help reignite a Newcastle United attack that is lacking in pure pace, which the Ukrainian has an abundance of.

The Blues may look elsewhere in terms of a possible destination for the 23-year-old as if they don’t want him to join and aid a Premier League - the report suggests that La Liga giants Barcelona could be intrigued in a move for the winger in January.
Furthermore, Newcastle aren’t the only team in the Premier League that are supposedly keen to sign Mudryk on a loan deal, with Crystal Palace also credited with an interest. They have struggled greatly for goals of late, with just 11 goals in 13 league matches this season.
