Pep Guardiola fears Manchester City's era of dominance could be coming to an end after the worst run of his managerial career.
Guardiola has led City to a remarkable 18 trophies in eight years at City, but they are winless in their last seven games in all competitions, including six defeats.
Last season Guardiola led City to a record fourth straight Premier League title – his sixth in total – a year after emulating local rivals Manchester United by clinching the Treble.
But this season the wheels have come off for City, with Guardiola – who recently signed a new two-year deal – admitting their current woes could prove the beginning of the end for his team.

Guardiola's flops are currently down in fifth place, 11 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool, with their hopes of a fifth straight title all but over.
When asked if he felt his players were starting to believe their era of dominance and success was over, Guardiola admitted he does not know.
Guardiola, whose side host Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night, said: "I don't know. I cannot answer this question. We will try to extend it as much as possible. We're in December, with many games to play. But when it is going to finish, it is going to finish.
“I want to prove we are still an incredible football club. Sooner or later it's going to be the end, but I will try to extend it as much as possible for the best of my club.
"But even when we were celebrating the Treble, I said it was going to end, but I'd try to continue to push my players, and they responded unbelievably well. This season, due to many circumstances, everything dropped. If it's the end or not, time will tell."
Guardiola holds up six fingers to the fans indicating the number of Premier League titles he has won
Since Sunday's comprehensive defeat at Liverpool, which they could have lost by an even bigger margin, City's players have come out fighting, insisting they are not finished.
Ruben Dias said City will show what “warriors” they are, while fellow Kyle Walker told fans the team would never give up on winning more trophies.
But Guardiola has told his players actions speak louder than words and has called on his players – who have not won since October – to do their talking on the pitch.
"It's just words,” said Guardiola. "I know they want it, I don't have doubts about that, but we are not getting results - and you have to get results. They're not going to come to me and saying they don't believe any more. I would like to help them to find a way to be consistent and win games. Otherwise, I would not decide that I want to be with these players longer.
"This is what we have to do, but what's going to happen is going to happen. I had in my head my destiny when I extended my contract, because I want to do that, but all managers are in this situation with results. I accept it and we try to help them. I want to be here and if they want me, then fine."
