Borussia Dortmund star Donyell Malen is keen on the prospect of a move to Spain, with Barcelona.
That’s according to German transfer insider Patrick Berger, who has on Tuesday provided an insight into the situation.
Dortmund frontman Malen is widely understood to be on the lookout for a new challenge with a view to the 2025/26 campaign.
The Dutchman’s priority is to secure a move to one of Spain or England, with the aforementioned Barcelona having emerged as a potential landing spot.
The Blaugrana are known to be on the lookout for reinforcements in the attacking third, with Malen – owing to his versatility and contract situation – having emerged as a possible target.
As per a report from the aforementioned Patrick Berger:
‘Everton, Nottingham Forest, Brentford and Crystal Palace expressed an interest in him in summer. But Malen has high expectations. He wants to play for a top European club, e.g. Barca or Arsenal.’
