Amad has been in fine form this season
Ruben Amorim expects Manchester United will find a "solution" with Amad as he approaches the final six months of his contract.
United have the option of an additional year on the 22-year-old's existing deal that they are expected to trigger before the January transfer window opens to prevent overseas clubs from negotiating a pre-contract with Amad's representatives.
The winger has started in 11 of United's 21 matches this season and has quickly established himself in Amorim's side on the right-hand side of a 3-4-3 formation.
Amad, who joined United from Atalanta for a fee rising to £37million on transfer deadline day in October 2020, said during pre-season he would be happy to stay at United for the remainder of his career.

"I think he wants to stay and we want him to stay, so that is clear and we will find a solution," Amorim clarified.
Amad has primarily played as a right winger in his formative years and has taken on more defensive responsibilities as a wing back under Amorim. Former United manager Erik ten Hag trialled Amad as a false nine.
"I think it's one of the great advantages of Amad, for me," Amorim said of his versatility. "He’s very good playing in that position but also playing between the lines because he has a good control and he seems faster with the ball than without the ball.
"So it's something that he has and he is capable of playing in both positions. And he can play in different systems. So in the future, we will play in the different system, maybe. So it's the that kind of player that we need in the team."
United have met with Jorge Mendes, who is overseeing the expected sale of Sporting winger Geovany Quenda. United have been tracking Quenda, 17, since he made his debut in August and he occupies the same role for the Portuguese side as Amad does at United.
With the left-footed Antony likely to be available for transfer next year, United have identified Quenda as an ideal potential target to strengthen the squad in the summer.
Amad is capable of playing as one of the two playmakers behind the striker but Amorim explained why he opted to start him on the wing. "Because of his left foot, it's sometimes in that position, the way he receives the ball.
"If you are right-footed, sometimes you don't have the space to come inside. But we have, for example, (Noussair) Mazraoui and (Diogo) Dalot can go inside because they are fast and strong with the ball. But we chose Amad to have one against one outside. And that is very important to break some pressures and especially high pressures and he has that ability.
"And then in that position, you need to have a good physicality. Good physicality is not the size, but he can run. And that is a key point in that position.
"So you try to choose players that you can put in that position and then the technical characteristics is perfect for him."
Amorim also suggested United would wait until the January transfer window opens to decide on whether to be active in the market. United already have a large squad, with 29 players listed in the first team section on the club website.
The victory over Everton on Sunday was also the first of nine games in December for United. "No, we didn't think about [the transfer window]," Amorim said, "because we have so many games but is something when the window opens, we can do something. I don't know. I have to talk with with them about that, with the board.
"But in this moment, the focus is to try to win some games and to put this team in a better position in all competition. So we'll have time to do that, but we'll see what happens in January."
