Bruno Fernandes and Amad starring
Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes have been in outstanding form lately, with both players helping tear Everton apart at Old Trafford.
And right now, the pairing are the two most dangerous players in the Premier League, highlighted by their assists.
Over the past five Premier League matches, Amad leads the league for assists, with Fernandes following…
Amad Diallo (4)
Bruno Fernandes (3)
Matheus Cunha (3)
Bukayo Saka (3)
United will have to be cautious of Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, while Martin Odegaard has two assists during this span – and has only played three games out of the past five.
MORE UNITED STORIES
So amid the positives, there are reasons for United to be extra wary heading to The Emirates, although we knew this already, considering their league position and our recent record there.
Goal threat
When it comes to most goals scored over the past five Premier League games, it is Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah who leads with six.
United forward Marcus Rashford and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka are tied for joint third, with three goals each in five matches.
Across the season as a whole, United’s goal difference needs to be improved – but it is currently better than Manchester City’s, and only 10 behind Arsenal’s.
United aim to swing this, and the points and positions, with a surprise win at The Emirates. A statement victory for Ruben Amorim would move the Red Devils just three points behind the Gunners.
